Description
In this artwork, I aimed to blend the vividness of pop art with the depth of fine art, using watercolors to create a playful yet profound scene. The person draped in a lemon slice, juxtaposition against the serene seascape and sailing boat, explores themes of freshness, renewal, and nature's embrace. It's a whimsical representation urging viewers to find joy and brightness in everyday life, perfect for invigorating any living space with energy and a touch of whimsy.
Presentation
Kristina Mallen, a painter with a background in oil and acrylic mediums.
Her recognisable style infuses the sophistication of Art Deco, the pop of Pop Art with a dominant focus on the female figure, manifesting elegance and eroticism. Her work exudes the extravagance, classical chic, and charm of women, striking a balance between provocation and the sublime.
