Description
This piece is a striking example of the contemporary pop art style. The vibrant colors are striking, with a predominance of reds, yellows, and blues that intertwine dynamically. The central motif appears embedded in a mosaic of shapes and symbols, evoking a sense of nostalgia and modernity. Inspired by iconic cultural icons including Mickey, the piece plays with recognizable graphic elements, while presenting them in a deconstructive and playful way. Thick lines and sharp edges delineate each section, creating a harmonious juxtaposition of chaos and order. The most unique aspect of this piece is its ability to blend familiarity with innovation, transforming familiar imagery into a unique artistic statement. The layered elements add depth, inviting the viewer to explore each layer and discover hidden details. This wall art embodies a rebellious and creative spirit, confirming its status as a distinctive piece in the world of pop art. Cultural resonances are omnipresent, seducing as much by their originality as by their overflowing energy.
Presentation
Stéphane Gubert is one of those artists for whom creating is a vital act, an extension of his sensitivity, his emotions and his experience. In each of his series of paintings, we find an identity unique marked by a palette of colors, a line, and codes popular. His style is inspired by the great masters who nourish and passionate and to whom he likes to refer and above all to make tribute to Roy Lichenstein, Hervé Télémaque, Erro, Jean Dubuffet,Valerio Adami ...
Each of his works thus addresses a theme, a daily life, a fragility, a deviance from our society or a news that drives it, touches it and affects him. Modest and sensitive, it blurs the tracks by offering several degrees of reading of his work. At first glance, aesthetics dominate the work to better hide the message and the meaning as a game of track. Between painting, comics, graffiti, popart, with a style that is ultimately unclassifiable in cases ... its DNA is there: serious work that cannot be taken serious.
