Tendresse, 2024

Sandrine Hartmann

This captivating artwork is distinguished by its profusion of pastel colors, subtly applied to create a calming and dreamy atmosphere. The bold use of hues such as coral, mint green and lemon yellow immediately catches the eye and invites prolonged contemplation. The brushstrokes appear spontaneous, yet they reveal a carefully calculated balance, where the fluidity of the colors is juxtaposed with the almost geometric structure of the composition. The center of the work is animated by a delicate blend of shades that seem to melt into one another, creating an effect of movement and depth. The blurred edges and translucent layers add an ethereal dimension, evoking landscapes in constant transformation. The lighter border skillfully frames the piece, providing a subtle contrast that highlights the vitality of the interior colors. This painting, with its lyrical abstraction, encourages introspection. It evokes nature while remaining resolutely modern, playing on feelings of calm and dynamism. The harmony of colors and the technical mastery of the artist make this work a unique and memorable piece, capable of provoking a multitude of reflections in the viewer.
