This canvas depicts two women standing opposite each other in a flowering garden. The setting of the painting is filled with bright colors and greenery, creating an atmosphere of lush nature and abundance. The woman on the left is wearing a dress with a square neckline and sweeping lines reminiscent of early 20th century fashion. On her head is an elegant hat decorated with fresh fruits, giving her a vintage and sophisticated look. Her gaze is directed forward, and she seems immersed in thought or in dialogue with her interlocutor. Her posture is straight and expresses dignity. The woman on the right, unlike her interlocutor, is depicted in a freer and more relaxed pose. She is dressed in a light pink dress, draped around her body in such a way that it emphasizes her figure and adds femininity to the image. She wears a wreath of flowers on her head, complementing her natural beauty. She has closed her eyes and seems to be enjoying the scent of flowers or a moment of peace. Between the two women in the foreground stands a crystal vase that sparkles and reflects the surrounding vegetation and light. Flowers and plants surround them, creating the feeling of a luxurious and well-kept garden. In the background you can see the surface of the water and a gentle sunset, adding softness and romance to the composition. Presentation
Born in 1953 in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine.
1965–1969: Studied at an art school.
1968–1973: Studied at the Dnipro Art School, specializing in painting.
From 1978: Participated in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions.
1988: Became a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
The artist's works can be seen in museums in Ukraine and abroad, including the Boston Museum of Social Art. Many of his pieces are in private collections in the USA, European countries, Turkey, and Israel.
Currently lives and works in Zaporizhzhia.
Anatoly Tarabanov works in the field of easel painting.
Tarabanov's art combines direct life impressions with meticulous work on form. The artist himself believes that the technique of painting needs to be perfected throughout life, constantly experimenting and introducing something new. His works always exude a clear, confident rhythm that dominates among the lively bursts of decorative spots. This is why Anatoly's works are easily understood, and their profound meaning is easily read.
