Description
This abstract work displays a vibrant palette of spring colors, dominated by shades of green, yellow and purple. The touches of paint are applied with a thick and bold texture, creating a dynamic relief on the canvas. The splashes and multi-colored layers overlap harmoniously, evoking a lush landscape. Orange circles and fragmented lines add movement, guiding the eye through the composition. The balance between apparent chaos and chromatic harmony is a testament to exceptional artistic mastery. The frame is signed by the artist, affirming his creative identity. This painting invites the observer to deep contemplation, suggesting the vitality and energy of nature. Its unique character lies in the bold juxtaposition of shapes and colors, which transports the viewer into a universe of poetic abstraction and visual freshness.
Presentation
When, in March 2020, we were told we couldn't go out any more, FLOV' felt a compelling need to create a world of colour, to paint, to escape.
So she decided: 'I'm going to paint pictures that feel good'.
In her search for freedom, she came across a quotation from Matisse that she took as a personal message: 'Colour above all, and even more than drawing, is a liberation'.
Inspired by nature, she uses acrylic paint, which she works with a brush, a knife or any other object that helps her to express her emotions on canvas. She can add graphite, ink or chalk to suggest relief.
She lets herself be carried away by the gesture, creating intuitively, letting herself be guided by the colours and contrasts. You could say that she lets go, so she follows her emotions and lets the colours express themselves.
