Timber Shadows, 2026

Alex Senchenko   Best sellers New & remarkable Artists

"Timber Shadows" is a powerful, large-scale abstract painting that captures the raw energy, mystery, and breathing spirit of a deep, sunlit forest.  Combining an intense palette of rich emerald greens, deep mossy tones, and contrasting hints of warm coral and golden sunlight, this artwork acts as a vivid portal to nature’s untouched wilderness.
Executed with a masterly use of the palette knife, the piece features an incredibly rich, tactile texture.  The bold impasto strokes create a multidimensional surface where paint flows like living organic matter—resembling layers of ancient bark, spores, and decaying timber giving birth to new flora.  The deep black underlayers anchoring the composition add a profound sense of drama, structure, and mystery, drawing the viewer's eye into the infinite depths of the woods.
This expressive, structured abstraction is designed to command attention, making it a perfect statement piece for modern minimalist, industrial, or contemporary luxury interiors.
