Description
'Patternstory 17.' is an acrylic painting on canvas.
The artwork features a thin layer of varnish for protection against UV light and dust. It is unframed, signed, and titled on the back.
Please note that the piece IS prepared for immediate hanging.
As an abstract artist, I use perspective and geometric shapes to deconstruct scenes and reconstruct them into a personal visual language. My work combines forms, colors, patterns, textures, and materials to create visually rich and meaningful objects. I aim to produce art that is more suggestive than informative, leaving space for viewers to engage their imagination and interpret the work in their own way.
The colors sometimes vary on the computer monitors and may differ from the original version.
Presentation
Petr Strnad is a contemporary artist whose work investigates essential concepts of art through the language of abstraction.
For Petr art making is an ongoing exploration of its limits to express a vision of intuitive inspiration.
Using paintings, new media, photography or collage his work explores art as a poetic space. Petr uses a variety traditional and experimental techniques in a playful way to break down the fragile boundary between visible and invisible.
