Air Castles, 2022

Uliana Sal

Here we see a unique abstract modular painting. It shows a landscape in which the mountains glow with an inviting white-green light against a black night sky. This work is stunning in its soft, fluid movement. A recognizable silhouette of mountain ranges in the texture of a vigorous stream. These cells, lines and bubbles appearing across the surface give an exciting movement, radiating soft light and positive energy into your home. This artwork is a visual exploration of movement, texture, and light. It captures the ethereal and fluid nature of natural elements, creating a sense of lightness and elevation, as if floating through layers of air and atmosphere. The intricate details and bold color contrasts suggest a delicate balance between strength and fragility. The abstract forms allow viewers to interpret the painting in a way that connects with their own imagination and emotions, evoking thoughts of vast open spaces or imagined landscapes.
