Wide, whimsical and spontaneous impasto strokes with a palette knife and brush using restrained almost monochrome colour combinations highlight the grace of the forms of these amazingly beautiful birds. The background is designed in the same tonal color scheme, which does not contrast but harmonizes with the figures of the birds.  The composition is decided with the intention of focusing attention on the center of the art work, and the canvas is deliberately left untouched along the edge of the image to increase the emphasis on the graceful movement of the birds.

This art work is painted with ease, using the Impasto technique with high-quality oil paints on canvas using art brushes and palette knives.


The artwork was presented at the “Poetic Approaches" Collective Exhibition - Dionísio Pinheiro and Alice Cardoso Pinheiro Foundation Museum and Figueira da Foz Center for Arts and Shows (Portugal), 2023;

The artwork is equipped with a solid wood frame with black finish and silver on the edge.

1,5 cm space between the edge of the canvas and the frame creates an iconic floating effect, tighter frame around the edges provides a sleek, contemporary style.
