Description
The artwork "Would you lay with me and just forget the world" shows an abstracted field of flowers in vibrant, flowing colors that appears like a sea of blossoms. An implied circle symbolizes the unity and connection of two lovers. It stands for their protected world, a space of intimacy in which only the two of them exist. The colors - an interplay of warm reds, soft yellow and deep blue - symbolize passion, harmony and security. The abstract representation invites you to immerse yourself in the scenery and experience the moment of pure love and detachment in which the world around them disappears.
The works in the "Nature's Breath" series were painted with acrylic paints on stretcher frames. A primer with filler was applied beforehand to give the picture depth and structure. This technique creates a lively, tactile surface that underlines the dynamic energy of nature.
