Description
This abstract artwork captures the essence of a maritime landscape through a captivating palette of deep blues and mysterious greens. The horizontal composition evokes a blurred horizon line, where the sea merges with the sky. The fluid texture of the paint, applied with delicate brushstrokes, creates a sense of movement and depth. In the center, a band of luminous white crosses the canvas, evoking either a morning mist or a burst of sunlight on the waves, adding a dazzling dimension to the whole. The overall mood oscillates between serenity and mystery, recalling the vastness and unpredictability of the ocean. Through this minimalist approach, the artist succeeds in provoking a deep reflection on nature and infinity, making this work a true invitation to escape and contemplation.
Presentation
Abstract painting and vibrant emotion
Christine Barth Mroz, a self-taught painter, has been exploring emotions through abstract painting for 20 years. Her acrylic works, like visual musical notes, invite contemplation and reverie.
Drawing inspiration from music, the artist gives free rein to his creative gesture, favoring letting go and the pleasure of painting, often with his hands. His transparent paintings reveal a deep sensitivity and a mastery of light.
Exhibiting in France and Germany, notably at the Art3f fair, Christine Barth Mroz has acquired international recognition. Her works are present in online galleries and private collections, notably in the United States and Monaco.
