Description
My work is a visual exploration of emotional contrasts, a dance between light and dark. Using resin and pigments, I capture a dynamic, almost living boundary. The white crack, set with orange-red, symbolizes a fragile power that emanates from the canvas, adding energy and passion to any living space. Each band of color reflects a distinct state of mind, inviting deep reflection. A worked Naples yellow and a beautiful ivory black paired with a blue/green/gray.
Presentation
Coming from a lineage of artists, Alain Churlaud excels in a variety of media, including oil and acrylic. Inspired by nature, this expressive artist uses distinctive techniques such as the use of spatula, brush, roller, sand and sawdust to create a unique natural texture. His abstract works, which for him often have a meaning, transmit a renewed look at reality and invite contemplation and appreciation of the present moment.
