Description
This captivating work presents a bold play of colours and shapes, evoking a fusion between nature and the cosmos. At the heart of the composition, a vibrant yellow radial pattern extends like a dancing star, contrasting sharply with the dark and mysterious background. The dynamic and irregular branches, like lightning bolts, suggest energy in motion, creating a striking visual tension. The luminous centre inexorably draws the eye, symbolising a source of life or a cosmic force. The juxtaposition of colours – ranging from bright yellow to subtle purple – enriches the depth and intensity of the work. This hypnotic effect pushes the viewer to contemplate the balance between light and dark, chaos and harmony. A remarkable piece that invites reflection on the essence of creation and the infinity of the universe.
Presentation
Christine Marie Nobre is an award-winning painter, photographer and sculptor based in France.
His works have been exhibited nationally, in Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States. One of the central themes in her works is light, as she feels that we live in a dark world and that humans are all "little lights that need to be awakened".
Nobre creates "passages in the imaginary" through visions and the cosmic as organic to the "antipodes of space and time".
