Description
Klish 27
"Sea Bay" by Andriy Klishyn captures the tranquil beauty of an expansive coastal landscape. The composition leads the viewer's eye along the gentle curve of the shoreline, where the calm, shimmering water meets the rugged, earthy land. In the distance, a solitary lighthouse stands atop the hill, a symbol of guidance, solitude, and resilience.Klishyn's textured brushstrokes and earthy color palette create a deep connection to nature, evoking the peacefulness of the open sea and the timelessness of the coastal environment. The vast sky, painted in delicate blue hues, reinforces the sense of openness and endless possibilities. This painting invites the viewer to pause and embrace a moment of contemplation, where land and sea converge, and the lighthouse serves as a quiet guardian of the horizon. It speaks to the human desire for stability and exploration, reminding us that even in solitude, there is beauty and purpose.

The artist about himself:
“As a professional artist, I started my career late, at 61 years old. But it is possible that this was what should have happened. Everything has its time. Rich life experiences have become the source of my creativity. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because “I paint with my heart." Sometimes I use an intuitive drawing, namely: not from life or from a photograph, but only what suits the subconscious, soul, heart.
Most importantly and completely unexpectedly for me, after a series of works I began to understand where my images come from... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past or future life.
Despite my little experience, I already have more than two hundred paintings, about forty of them have found “their home" in private collections and museums."
The paintings are in the Lutsk Art Museum, in the Korsakov Family Museum of Contemporary Art.
