Description
READY TO HANG.
Original oil painting, 100% hand painted on canvas.
Comes with signed certificate of authenticity.
This expressive 20x30 cm oil painting explores the complexity of human emotion through a richly textured and atmospheric composition. A softly rendered face emerges from the depths of layered pigments, its translucent, almost spectral quality evoking a sense of introspection and ambiguity. The artist employs bold, gestural brushstrokes and an intricate interplay of warm and cool tones, creating a visual tension between presence and absence, solidity and dissolution.
Hints of yellow, green, and blue define the contours of the face, while deeper, shadowy tones in the background provide contrast and depth. The abstraction of features suggests an evolving identity—perhaps a memory, a fleeting thought, or a dreamlike apparition. This piece masterfully navigates the realm between figurative and abstract expressionism, making it a compelling addition for collectors drawn to enigmatic portraiture and emotionally charged works.
