Description
Klish 65
Andriy Klishyn's painting "Landscape from a Fairy Tale" transports the viewer into a dreamlike world where reality and fantasy blend seamlessly. The striking pink and violet sky dominates the composition, creating an otherworldly atmosphere that feels both magical and mysterious. The swirling brushstrokes give the impression of movement, as if the landscape is alive with enchantment. In the foreground, dark trees and textured terrain contrast sharply with the luminous sky, emphasizing the depth and richness of the scene. A small house with glowing windows and a red roof stands as a solitary beacon of warmth and comfort, enhancing the sense of wonder and solitude. The house appears almost mythical, as if it belongs to a place beyond time, hidden in the pages of a forgotten fairy tale.Through "Landscape from a Fairy Tale," Klishyn expresses themes of nostalgia, mystery, and the power of imagination. The painting invites the viewer to step into a world of endless possibilities, where nature and dreams intertwine to create a place of quiet magic and poetic beauty.

The artist about himself:
“As a professional artist, I started my career late, at 61 years old. But it is possible that this was what should have happened. Everything has its time. Rich life experiences have become the source of my creativity. My art is ambiguous and unlike any other, probably because “I paint with my heart." Sometimes I use an intuitive drawing, namely: not from life or from a photograph, but only what suits the subconscious, soul, heart.
Most importantly and completely unexpectedly for me, after a series of works I began to understand where my images come from... I think that I or my essence saw them in our past or future life.
Despite my little experience, I already have more than two hundred paintings, about forty of them have found “their home" in private collections and museums."
The paintings are in the Lutsk Art Museum, in the Korsakov Family Museum of Contemporary Art.
