Description
Who plants a cactus garden? What kind of garden gloves do they wear and how do they weed it? I love the look of these plants and think about the challenges they must present. This 30x20" painting was done with quality oil paints on stretched linen.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
Every painting is personal in some way to the artist alone, but I hope viewers of my work will experience some sort of remembrance, thought or connection that's uniquely theirs. I love the fluid process of creating with oils, always seeking a harmony of color, texture, and space.
There is a wonderful tactile joy in pushing paint around- much like the finger paints we all loved as children. I love that if something doesn't work I can revisit it and try again.
