Description
It's 1960 and two brothers are enjoying a perfect time on the local pond. It seems kids pick up how to skate with surprising little effort. Outdoor time with fresh air and exercise are perfect. This was done with quality oil paints on stretched linen. It's ready to hang.
Presentation
Artist Statement:
Every painting is personal in some way to the artist alone, but I hope viewers of my work will experience some sort of remembrance, thought or connection that's uniquely theirs. I love the fluid process of creating with oils, always seeking a harmony of color, texture, and space.
There is a wonderful tactile joy in pushing paint around- much like the finger paints we all loved as children. I love that if something doesn't work I can revisit it and try again.
