Description
Unique and original artwork by JULIEN RAYNAUD. Acrylic and spray paint on canvas 100x100. Signed. Resigned and titled on the reverse. This vibrant work skillfully uses geometric shapes and bold colors to capture an intimate scene. The human figures are depicted in a cubist manner, with faces broken down into multicolored angular facets. The woman occupies the center, her serene gaze contrasting with the fractured forms and luminous tones that surround her. To the left, another figure lies sprawled, looking toward her, creating a subtle visual connection. In the background, a white cat observes from an elevated position. The blocks of color in the background suggest a stylized city (New York), adding depth and dynamism. The bold use of black lines accentuates the composition, reminiscent of traditional stained glass. The playful, abstract aspect gives the work a fascinating quality, prompting reflection on the harmony between chaos and tranquility.
