Description
This striking landscape, characterized by bold, flat areas of color that create a serene yet dynamic scene.
The horizon depicted in the painting devides the canvas into three main sections. The foreground is dominated by a pale, muted beige that suggests a sandy terrain, smoothly brushed with subtle texture.
Above, a deep, horizontal band of dark teal or navy evokes a calm sea or distant mountains, providing a dramatic contrast.
The upper portion of the painting bursts into a vivid azure sky, perfectly capturing the essence of a clear day. The sky's soft blending into the dark band below offers a harmonious transition, imparting a sense of infinite space.
The simplicity and boldness of color choices highlight the artist's abstract style, conveying depth and texture through minimalistic means, inviting the viewer to find their own narrative in the tranquil interplay of elements.
This semi-abstract landscape painting will bring tranquility to any space and set a romantic holiday mood.
Presentation
Gina Vor is a Swiss based artist, expressing her creativity through small abstract and minimalistic paintings. She is a self-taught creator that decided to distance herself from various influences of the art world and therefore presents and signs her work with a pseudonym.
The artist is completely closed off from the buzz of the art world. This year she started exhibiting her works online and is working exclusively with Art Goda gallery. Her works are vibrant, beautiful and affordable, expressing positivity, joy and sometimes philosophical moods, in the free and emotional strokes of her paintbrush.
