Description
Litv 1169
In "Wanderers," Daniil Litvinov presents a haunting and surreal procession of grotesque, mutated figures trudging across a cracked, barren landscape. The figures, twisted and hybridized, form a chaotic, almost mythological army—part beast, part machine, part human—marching under a red flag and a strange winged creature. Their movement seems aimless yet relentless, as if driven by an unseen force or existential purpose. The composition speaks to the absurdity of war, the distortion of humanity, and the collapse of civilization into primal chaos. Litvinov uses fantastical and symbolic imagery to express the spiritual exhaustion and moral disintegration of societies in turmoil. "Wanderers" is a dystopian allegory—a meditation on collective delusion, blind obedience, and the eternal wandering of lost souls in search of meaning.
