Born in 1977 in Hô-Chi-Minh-City, Vietnam, Olivier Messas is a painter living between France and Germany. After moving to France from Vietnam at the age of two, he quickly developed an independent character while remaining attached to his family and cultural values.

Initially orientated towards studies in accounting, Messas did not find satisfaction in this path and turned to fashion and styling before finally finding his true mode of expression in painting. His art, a subtle blend of realism and spirituality, draws inspiration from his many travels and encounters with different cultures.
