In this work, Timm Blandin once again deploys all his art of light and simplification to make a familiar landscape vibrate.
A modest house, hidden behind dense vegetation, seems to bathe in the warmth of a coppery sky. Trees stand like sculpted silhouettes, bushes become colorful masses, and the ground transforms into a carpet of vibrant greens, interspersed with touches of pink and purple.
Halfway between soft abstraction and figuration, the scene evokes a silent garden at the end of the day, frozen in an almost supernatural calm. It is the ordinary that becomes a mental landscape, a motionless setting inhabited by light.
