Description
Slow Glow | Neon Snail Textured Acrylic Artwork on Black Background | Contemporary Art
This small but powerful artwork is a striking celebration of texture, color, and symbolism. A luminous snail emerges against a deep black background, glowing with shades of violet, neon green, and golden yellow. The contrast between the crackled, tactile surface and the smooth darkness creates a mysterious, almost cosmic atmosphere.
More than just a depiction of nature, this artwork is a metaphor for resilience and radiance — proof that even the slowest path can shine when taken with authenticity. The snail becomes a dreamlike figure, glowing like a star from another galaxy, a quiet yet bold presence that transforms the space around it. Perfect as a contemporary accent, Slow Glow is ideal for collectors of symbolic art, lovers of texture, and anyone who enjoys modern works with a touch of surreal energy.

Presentation
Joanna Misoteri is a professional artist whose works uniquely blend traditional Eastern motifs with contemporary artistic techniques. Inspired by 19th-century Japanese woodblock prints, natural landscapes, and cultural imagery from China, Japan, and Southern countries, Joanna creates textured, three-dimensional compositions using acrylic paints, texture paste, epoxy resin, and alcohol inks. Her pieces transform the canvas into tactile artworks of art, offering a captivating 3D effect.
