Flower of Life: Healing, 2024

Vladilena Cherednichenko

“Sacred Gates" is not just a painting but a symbolic portal created on the foundations of sacred geometry. It combines ancient motifs—the yantra gates, the hexagram, and the Flower of Life. These elements form a harmonious composition filled with meaning and balanced energy.

Symbolism of the Painting
• The outer square with four “projections" represents the yantra gates. In tradition, they symbolize the boundaries of the material world and, simultaneously, the entrance to sacred space. The four sides of the gates face the cardinal directions, inviting energy flow and allowing the viewer to journey inward—from the external to the internal. The yantra gates symbolize transition, protection, and new beginnings, as if inviting one to step into a realm of inner silence and harmony.
• The hexagram (interlaced triangles) is a sacred symbol reflecting the balance of heaven and earth, masculine and feminine, spiritual and material. It reminds us of the importance of wholeness and equilibrium in life.
• The Flower of Life—one of the oldest universal symbols, found in cultures worldwide—represents the structure of the universe, the unity of all existence, and the eternal cycle of life. This symbol imbues the painting with profound philosophical meaning and a sense of belonging to something greater.

This work will not merely decorate a space but serve as a visual reminder of equilibrium and inner strength.

Artist's Words
“While creating this painting, I sought to embody the idea of sacred balance. For me, it is a reminder that we are all engaged in a constant dialogue between the earthly and the spiritual, the masculine and the feminine, the material and the eternal. 'Sacred Gates' is a symbol of inner choice and the opportunity to discover new horizons within oneself."

Let “Sacred Gates" become your personal portal to a state of peace, inspiration, and inner wholeness.
