Description

This abstract work captures the essence of infinite landscapes, revealing a scene both calm and enigmatic. The canvas is dominated by a low horizon where the deep blue of the oceans subtly merges with gray shades, evoking a calm sea under a changing sky. On the horizon, touches of yellow and orange emerge, evoking a distant sunset or moors bathed in golden light, creating a striking contrast with the darker tones. The artist uses broad brushstrokes to convey a sense of fluid, continuous movement, while the minimalist composition invites contemplation. This painting, with its restricted palette and variations in texture, offers a poetic interpretation of nature, guiding the viewer on an introspective journey through vast and open mental landscapes.

Presentation

Abstract painting and vibrant emotion

Christine Barth Mroz, a self-taught painter, has been exploring emotions through abstract painting for 20 years. Her acrylic works, like visual musical notes, invite contemplation and reverie.

Drawing inspiration from music, the artist gives free rein to his creative gesture, favoring letting go and the pleasure of painting, often with his hands. His transparent paintings reveal a deep sensitivity and a mastery of light.

Exhibiting in France and Germany, notably at the Art3f fair, Christine Barth Mroz has acquired international recognition. Her works are present in online galleries and private collections, notably in the United States and Monaco.
