Description
Abstraction is expressed here as a visual score. The gesture is free and instinctive. The acrylic paint spreads in wide horizontal bands. Blue dominates the composition. It extends from deep ultramarine blue to lighter, almost aerial shades.
A luminous contrast is established in the center. Touches of ochre and white evoke a distant horizon. The light seems to filter through translucent layers. The work of the material brings a palpable texture. Some areas are smoothed, others retain the raw trace of the movement.
A small red dot breaks the chromatic harmony. This detail attracts the eye and creates a point of tension. The whole invites contemplation. The composition plays on the balance between serenity and dynamism. The color gradients suggest an abstract landscape. The final rendering favors transparency and clarity. The canvas ends with fine vertical lines on the right side of the painting.

Presentation

Abstract painting and vibrant emotion

Christine Barth Mroz, a self-taught painter, has been exploring emotions through abstract painting for 20 years. Her acrylic works, like visual musical notes, invite contemplation and reverie.

Drawing inspiration from music, the artist gives free rein to his creative gesture, favoring letting go and the pleasure of painting, often with his hands. His transparent paintings reveal a deep sensitivity and a mastery of light.

Exhibiting in France and Germany, notably at the Art3f fair, Christine Barth Mroz has acquired international recognition. Her works are present in online galleries and private collections, notably in the United States and Monaco.
