Description
This captivating work depicts a snow-capped mountain range beneath a deep night sky. The mountains, painted in shades of icy blue, stand out vigorously against the dark background, creating a striking contrast. The rich, dynamic texture suggests a thick painting technique, lending relief and depth to the composition. The play of light and shadow on the peaks accentuates their majesty, evoking a sense of calm and mystery. The complete absence of any natural or civilizational elements around the mountains further emphasizes their majestic isolation. This painting invites the viewer to contemplate the raw, timeless beauty of the wilderness, captured with elegant simplicity and incredible mastery of nuance.
Presentation
I have been working with oil on canvas for three years.
From my initial work in calligraphy, I kept the taste for rhythm, the energy of the movement and contrasts.
Living in the French Alps, I walk a lot in the mountains but also at the edge of my native ocean.
Back in my studio, I seek to express the strength of the elements that surround us.
Storms, waves, thunderstorms but also calm, serenity, resource.
The human being, very small in face of this grandiose nature, continues to explore it, seeks to understand what surrounds him.
In my artworks, I invite you to feel it!
