Description
This bold work blends abstraction and dynamism through a range of shapes and vibrant colors. Energetic, undulating, and asymmetrical black strokes traverse the canvas, creating a striking contrast with the background. Vivid hues of yellow, red, and green intertwine harmoniously, lending a palpable energy. Touches of pink and brown add a unique depth to the whole. The heart of the composition appears to be in motion, suggesting intrinsic energy and raw emotion. The skillful use of negative space allows for visual breathing room, inviting the viewer to continuous exploration. This painting embodies a dazzling modernity, defying artistic conventions and capturing the spirit of the free and intense gesture. A work that captivates with its audacity and its ability to evoke boundless spontaneity and creativity.
Presentation
Silvio Mildo was born in Marseille in 1992. His parents are of Portuguese origin for his father, Armenian for his mother.
From childhood, he developed a marked taste for art. However, it was self-taught that he became a painter at the age of 22.
After discovering and exploring graffiti, he emancipated himself from it to embrace a workshop practice nourished by influences
diverse, from abstract expressionism to the COBRA movement, from Alechinsky to Robert Combas.
“I don’t come from any school,” he assures us. I try to stay free
in my approach to painting and not to obey any rules, while keeping in mind the work of my predecessors. »
