Description
This abstract artwork presents an explosion of vibrant colors and organic forms. Shades of blue, red, and ochre dominate the canvas, creating an energetic and captivating contrast. Delicately drawn white lines delineate and accentuate the areas of color, inviting visual exploration. The texture appears rich and nuanced, as if the artist had layered paint to give it striking depth. Each section of the composition evokes a certain fluidity, suggesting dynamic movement. The central red immediately draws the eye, functioning almost like the beating heart of the work. This piece successfully combines harmony and tension, offering the viewer an experience that is both calming and stimulating. The bold blending of colors and the harmonious arrangement of lines demonstrate remarkable technical mastery and a unique artistic vision.
Presentation
Nathalie Bergeron-Duval's work revolves around a fertile tension: fragmenting in order to recompose, deconstructing in order to reconstruct. The artist tirelessly explores how shapes, materials and colours can convey vital energy.
Each canvas is a field of experimentation based on material and chromatic vibration. Her painter's palette is also a folder of papers and cardboard, pre-painted, torn, glued and preserved throughout her works.
This collage technique gives her great freedom of imagination and spontaneity in her recurring inspirations: imaginary architectures, birds and tango.
Born in Paris in 1959. Lives and works in Viroflay (78) and Ville d'Avray (92) in a shared studio. Continuous artistic training since childhood with artists Michel Costiou, Flavia Fenarolli, Yves Desvaux-Veeska, Barbara Gebarzewski and Sophie Grüner. Numerous exhibitions over the past 20 years.
