“End of the Game" is a striking surreal composition that blends symbolism, emotion, and theatrical geometry. Two elongated, angular figures sit barefoot on a checkered floor—an unmistakable reference to a chessboard, where strategy, tension, and quiet defeat linger in the air. Their expressive, distorted faces and folded postures convey introspection, resignation, and a deeply human vulnerability.
Behind them stands a dreamlike deer, painted in soft, muted tones. Its quiet presence adds an element of mystery that influence the “game" of life. The checkered pattern beneath the characters, along with the scattered chess pieces, reinforces the central theme: sometimes the battles we fight are internal, and sometimes the game ends long before we realize it.
The artist's unique approach to form, color, and proportion gives the painting a modern, emotionally charged personality. It is a thoughtful, symbolic work that invites reflection and interpretation—perfect for collectors drawn to narrative abstraction and psychological depth.
