Description
Peonies: Dynamic White & Rose Floral Artwork | Modern Impasto Oil on Canvas.
“Peonies" belongs to the series Landscapes of Expression, where external scenes and inner states merge. This work shifts from landscape to still life, yet retains the same expressive language. The bouquet of white and pink peonies, painted with bold palette knife strokes, conveys both fragility and intensity. The contrast between the dark violet background and the green surface deepens the emotional resonance: it is not only about flowers, but about the drama of light and shadow, presence and absence. Here, peonies are more than decoration; they embody a state of being — fleeting, yet full of strength. Through texture and color, the painting turns a simple still life into a landscape of inner expression, where beauty emerges from the tension between delicacy and power.
