Description
This captivating work presents a complex mix of abstract forms drawn on an amber-toned canvas.
The interlacing contours form an organic network evoking fluidity and movement. The rich surface texture testifies to a skillful use of layering techniques, creating an intriguing depth. Subtle shades of brown and gold lend warmth and mystery to the whole, while the seemingly improvised lines add a spontaneous dynamism.
Each angle reveals a new perspective, inviting the viewer to a continuous visual exploration. Perfectly balanced between chaos and harmony, this painting attracts and holds the eye, illustrating an artistic quest for pure abstraction.
Presentation
Vision was born in 1971 in Pantin and grew up in Montreuil in the Paris suburbs. In 1983, he was then 12 years old and like many teenagers his age, he did not escape the surge of hiphop which invaded France. After tagging for a few months without really understanding the meaning, he made his first graffiti in 1986 and founded the group "Purple Kidz" in reference to a famous song by Prince. In the 90s, he showed all the colors in Île-de-France with his group Outlaw Crew. Railways, trains, subway trains, vacant lots, nothing escapes them. Recognized artist of international graffiti, his name will mark the mind of a whole generation of writers as he painted and wrote it. Self-taught, he has also turned to painting on canvas since 1990, with daily workshop work since 2001. He takes part in numerous festivals, solo and collective exhibitions in Paris, in the provinces and abroad. (TAG at the Grand Palais, Manish Arora haute couture fashion show, ParisToutPetit in partnership with Arcurial ...) Today recognized for his work on canvas and on walls, Vision is one of the most prolific writers. Few of his generation are still active as he is. In 2016, he celebrates his 30 years of graffiti and does not seem ready to stop.
