Description
This bold artwork depicts a vibrant, surreal scene where a central red door opens onto a colorful, abstract universe. Oversized flowers with yellow and blue petals bloom around the door, creating an intriguing juxtaposition between the ordinary and the imaginary. Clean lines and vivid colors emphasize the contrast between the natural elements and the door's architecture. The dark background amplifies the brilliance of the hues, accentuating the painting's vibrancy. The artist plays with perspective, giving an impression of depth and mystery. This work invites reflection on the boundary between reality and imagination, and perhaps symbolizes a transition or passage to a new world or state of mind. Every detail is carefully balanced, revealing a surprising harmony within this fantastical landscape.
Presentation
- Born August 4, 1945 in Saint-Junien (87200) - Registered with the Maison des Artistes. - Former student at the National School of Decorative Arts in Limoges. - Inspirational member 'Academy Atlanta' USA. - Listed artist Akoun. Referenced Art Price. - Certified artist and rated I-CAC - Trend: contemporary art nouveau. - Dominant inspiration: Theme paintings. - Techniques used: pencil, acrylic, oil, collage. - Supports: canvas, cardboard, paper. From an 'outdoor' painting, I turned to a more creative painting by working by themes and color codes. The color, bringing a rhythm to these themes, reinforced in the background by values such as black and white. The search for color is very important to give life and depth to my paintings, reinforced by strongly marked outlines, like stained glass. The guiding line remains nature and the events of everyday life.
