Description
This artwork is distinguished by its bold use of geometric shapes and vibrant colors. It presents a captivating harmony of blue, red, and yellow, framed by a black background that accentuates the vividness of the tones. Rectangular and circular forms intertwine, creating an abstract landscape where small blue houses emerge from undulating shapes reminiscent of golden hills. Red lines lend depth and dynamic movement, guiding the eye through the composition. The balance of elements conveys a sense of stability despite the abundance of forms. The artist demonstrates a remarkable mastery of simplifying natural elements into poetic abstractions, transforming everyday scenes into a vibrant and surreal world. This work invites an introspective exploration of the contrasts and harmonies of contemporary life.
Presentation
- Born August 4, 1945 in Saint-Junien (87200) - Registered with the Maison des Artistes. - Former student at the National School of Decorative Arts in Limoges. - Inspirational member 'Academy Atlanta' USA. - Listed artist Akoun. Referenced Art Price. - Certified artist and rated I-CAC - Trend: contemporary art nouveau. - Dominant inspiration: Theme paintings. - Techniques used: pencil, acrylic, oil, collage. - Supports: canvas, cardboard, paper. From an 'outdoor' painting, I turned to a more creative painting by working by themes and color codes. The color, bringing a rhythm to these themes, reinforced in the background by values such as black and white. The search for color is very important to give life and depth to my paintings, reinforced by strongly marked outlines, like stained glass. The guiding line remains nature and the events of everyday life.
