Description
This vibrant and dynamic painting captures two central human figures, in a pop art style, forming a heart with their arms. Surrounded by bright, saturated colors, they embody energetic joy. The background depicts a bustling city, marked by multicolored buildings and golden stars that illuminate the scene. The surrounding water reflects light boats, adding a touch of serenity to the colorful chaos. Shades of pink, blue, and orange dominate this work, creating an atmosphere of celebration and dreaminess. Bold strokes and predominantly black outlines accentuate the forms, giving the whole a captivating intensity. The subtle addition of a heart above the figures symbolizes love and unity, projecting a warm and universal emotion. MARCO's work, as always, conveys a message of happiness and "carpe diem." It is a tribute to human connection in a vibrant and imaginative world, permanently represented at Galerie Plurielle in Sète.
Presentation
Marco was born in Munich in 1973. After studying art in Cardiff and Falmouth (Great Britain), he received a UNESCO scholarship for a residency at the Paa Ya Paa art center in Nairobi ( Kenya). The resulting work will be exhibited at the UN headquarters in Gigiri.
During his travels around the world, he tries various artistic practices, such as metal sculpture, the creation of installations and ornamental photography. At the pace of his travels, Marco's work is also imbued with his various human and artistic encounters, thus becoming the original product of an intercultural fusion.
Even beyond the singularity of his career, it is the playful musicality that emanates from Marco's paintings that makes each of his works a real concentrate of happiness and expressionist inventiveness. The artist invites us through each of his compositions to enter weightlessness into a positive universe. An ode to Carpe-Diem!
Now based in the south of France, Marco exhibits permanently, in France, at the Galerie Plurielle in Sète (34).
