Description
Secure a cornerstone of urban contemporary art with this striking original work, where high-fashion aesthetics meet the raw emotionality of the street.
"Chromatic Heartbreak" is a tour de force of visual contrast. Drawing immediate parallels to the iconic works of Roy Lichtenstein, this piece reinterprets the "damsel in distress" trope for the 2026 art market. The juxtaposition of the vibrant, electric pink hair against the saturated lemon-yellow background creates a "retina-burn" effect that is balanced by the deep, mournful blue of the subject's eyes and jewelry.
This isn't just a portrait; it is an exploration of the thin line between public persona and private vulnerability—a theme that resonates deeply in our digital age.
Format & Scale: A commanding 75x55 cm canvas, meticulously prepared to ensure archival longevity.
Mixed Media Mastery: The artist utilizes a sophisticated layering of premium acrylics for flat, bold color blocks, professional spray paint for subtle atmospheric gradients, and high-precision writer markers for the signature "comic-strip" outlines.
Tactile Signature: Unlike a flat digital print, the physical application of markers and spray creates a distinct texture and "hand" that is only visible in an original work, adding significant value for the collector.
Stylistic Fusion: The work represents a flawless marriage of Neo-Pop and Graffiti culture, making it a versatile acquisition for various collection types.
In the current global art market, pieces that successfully blend nostalgia with modern street techniques are experiencing a surge in demand. This artwork serves as an ideal "anchor piece" for:
High-End Corporate Suites: Providing a bold, creative spark to professional environments.
Boutique Hotels & Residential Galleries: Offering a recognizable yet unique aesthetic that sparks immediate conversation.
Speculative Art Portfolios: Character-driven works with this level of technical finish are historically strong performers in the secondary urban art market.

Presentation
Simone De Rosa, born in 1977, is a self-taught Italian Pop art artist who took his first steps as a Pop Art artist.
He started drawing and painting from an early age, at the same time she was also inspired by comics and attended the Roman school of comics in Rome, Italy. Definitely modern painting.
Strong, vibrant colors with large spray can brush strokes and large, contrasting color patches. He is focused on the impression. The painting must dominate the interior and attract attention, all his paintings are made on canvas. He likes to work on medium sizes, ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 meters or more, and often uses items such as shop mannequins and bowling pins.
He usually uses acrylic paints accompanied by different techniques, especially when creating collages. Simone De Rosa draws inspiration from his urban environments such as street art, cartoons, celebrity icons, advertising and brend in order to make his works of art unique and attractive even to the less skilled in art. Currently his works are becoming more and more popular, they are now in private collections in Europe and the United States.
