Description
Pop aesthetics takes an iconic face here. The black line, sharp and assertive, structures the composition with graphic precision. The blue gaze draws attention, contrasting with a saturated yellow background.
The color palette relies on flat applications. The bright red of the lips brings a touch of classic sensuality. This composition plays on the codes of comic books and advertising imagery.
The artist uses acrylic to achieve a smooth and homogeneous rendering. Each line emphasizes the tension of the portrait and the strength of the gaze. The tight framing focuses attention on the enigmatic expression of the subject.
Realized in 2018, this painting explores the relationship between art and popular culture. The visual rendering favors immediate impact and the clarity of forms. The hand delicately placed on the chin completes this stylized staging.
