With a background in Visual Communication from The Surrey Institute of Art & Design, Courtenay's creative path shifted profoundly after a life-altering event - one that continues to shape her bold, expressive practice.
Her paintings blend traditional techniques with a contemporary edge-intuitive gestures, unapologetic colour blocks, and emotive mark-making that explore the space between inner awareness and outward perception. Each piece is an invitation to look deeper, reflect longer, and connect beyond the canvas.
Courtenay has exhibited with leading galleries and art fairs across London and was named one of Saatchi Art's Undiscovered Artists To Know in 2023. Her work has caught the attention of Pulitzer Prize-winning critic Jerry Saltz and now lives in private collections across the UK, USA, and UAE.
