Original painting from our collection
This artwork captures a serene winter landscape with a masterful blend of colors and textures. Dominated by cool blues and purples, the painting showcases a tranquil river reflecting the muted sky above. The snow-laden ground is punctuated by sparse vegetation and clusters of tall, dark trees, providing stark contrast to the soft, snowy backdrop. The artist's bold brushwork creates dynamic movement, as if the scene is gently breathing under the winter chill. Subtle hints of warm colors suggest the presence of life and warmth amidst the cold, enhancing the painting's depth. The composition expertly balances light and shadow, drawing the viewer's eye across the canvas. This piece exemplifies the artist's ability to evoke emotion and atmosphere through an impressionistic style, inviting contemplation and appreciation of nature's quiet beauty.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
