Description
'Letters from the Past' is part of my new Cycle 'Journey of Discovery', a lyrical exploration of vibrant energies expressed through strong brushstrokes, color and dynamic form. Created with high-quality acrylics on canvas, build layer upon layer of depth, inviting you to loose yourself in its mystical energy. The surface is protected with a light-resistant varnish.
Imagine the sudden changes of this time, accepting by simply being present. This original, medium-sized artwork is an energetic device, designed to release positive vibes and bring vitality to any room. Its balanced composition and captivating movement create a sense of joy and inspire contemplation.
Ready to hang,a lively addition to your home, it will fill your space with color, positive energy and beauty. Every color, every shape comes from an emotion experienced, felt, traversed. It is my way of giving voice to the whispers of the soul. My painterly gesture becomes a bridge - between my soul and the soul of the beholder.
Presentation
Michelle Hold is a German-born artist based in Italy who paints vibrant abstract works inspired by emotion and energy. Her canvases are loud and layered, enticing the viewer to look further and further into their depths.
The artist, who grew up in Austria, had begun to study architecture when she fell into modelling. On her travels and year long stays in Paris, New York, Hong Kong and London, she took various art and textile design classes and private lessons. She then worked as a textile designer in Milan before later throwing herself full time into painting.
Michelle has held solo exhibitions throughout Italy, in Shanghai and in London, and she has participated in international art fairs in Miami, Athens, Milan, Berlin and London. Her works have featured in group exhibitions across the globe.
