Alena Bure

Alena Bure is a contemporary artist based in Hamburg. Her practice moves between digital art and acrylic painting, with a focus on layered surfaces, restrained colour fields, texture and the tension between structure and openness.

Since 2022, Bure has developed a digital art practice, building a visual language through abstract compositions, atmospheric spaces and subtle architectural elements. Over time, this research moved into physical painting, where material, texture and the resistance of the surface became central to her work.

In her acrylic paintings, Bure works with layers of colour, texture paste and visible traces of process. Her works often contain horizon-like lines, quiet structural fragments and fields of light, creating compositions that feel both minimal and emotionally charged. Rather than illustrating a specific place, she builds abstract spaces where surface, rhythm and perception become the main subjects.

Selected digital works by Alena Bure are held in the Cryptinish / Idlewyld private collection. Her digital artworks were featured in a multi-page print publication in WOWWORLD Magazine, Issue #13, 2026

Her digital practice includes a collaboration with Artpoint, a France-based digital art agency working with digital artists, brands and public-facing digital art experiences.
