A blaze of scarlet poppies sweeps across a verdant mountain valley in this exuberant, heavily impastoed landscape. Andranik Harutyunyan builds the scene with thick, vigorous palette-knife strokes, layering fiery reds, lush greens, and golden ochres beneath a turbulent sky of swirling blues and pearly whites. The distant mountains rise in cool ridges of teal and indigo, anchoring the vivid foreground where wildflowers ignite the meadow with color. The richly textured surface seems to pulse with the energy of summer light and open air, every stroke alive with movement. Bold, joyful, and radiant, this is a celebration of the untamed beauty of the Armenian highlands in full, glorious bloom.
