Description
This work is inspired by a landscape in Punta del Este, on República Argentina Street. I found it very appealing because of the different levels of beauty that can be appreciated through a staircase that is part of its layout. I was captivated by the vegetation—pine trees and other plants—as well as the presence of the house on a higher level.
Finding sources of inspiration is very important for an artist. It is like walking on a sunny day surrounded by beautiful images that go beyond our capacity for wonder and envelop us in a kind of magic that nourishes our spirit, allowing a work of art to emerge. Feeling and enjoying the beauty of a landscape—or any subject—while achieving a deep connection with it is essential in order to capture it on canvas.
Presentation
Delia Solari is an Argentine painter, who worked on Neo Geometric Figuration and is now dedicated to Geometric Abstraction, with her own style that she called "Sensitive Planimetric Structuralism", whose development is explained in the book of her authorship "ESTETIC STATEMENTS".
She studied drawing, painting and composition with Mari Lagsner, Alfredo De Vicenzo, Marta Lozano, Julio Giustozzi and Juan Carlos Chasco Ross, History of Art with Jorge López Anaya and Theory and Philosophy of Art with Fermín Fevre.
She made Exhibitions in Galleries and Museums all over the world.
The French critic Ionel Jianou commented on her work “What richness and variety in the topics covered! From the most ingenious combinations of geometric figures to the relationship between music and painting, from the problems of light to the resonance and harmony of colors, from the tenderness and sensitive aspect of images to the vision of a movement cosmic, everything has been dealt with intelligence, strength and fervor in Delia Solari's dialogue with the Universe ".
