Catherine Vella

Catherine Vella is a French painter of Italian origin, whose artistic career spans over thirty years.

After long practicing oil painting, she now works mainly with acrylics. Her universe is characterized by a generous use of color, light contrasts, and a constant search around light and emotion. She explores various subjects—Mediterranean landscapes, human figures, animals, flowers, and scenes evocative of travel—while maintaining a personal visual identity. Painting occupies a central place in her life today. Her works have been presented at exhibitions and have joined private collections in France as well as abroad
