Description
I feel that a hat always adds elegance to the female figure. I wanted to create a feminine image with a strong sense of tranquility and calm. To do so, I used simple lines with an almost monochromatic tonal range, with a nuanced ochre in which the features of a barely sketched drawing stand out.
My emotional state at the time had a strong influence, as I was inspired by the soft music of Chopin that I was listening to. It soothes my spirit by making me experience subtle emotions and sensations. The image is always related to the feelings that arise in us in certain circumstances. It always reflects our inner world, and from there our style and identity as artists emerge.
Presentation
Delia Solari is an Argentine painter, who worked on Neo Geometric Figuration and is now dedicated to Geometric Abstraction, with her own style that she called "Sensitive Planimetric Structuralism", whose development is explained in the book of her authorship "ESTETIC STATEMENTS".
She studied drawing, painting and composition with Mari Lagsner, Alfredo De Vicenzo, Marta Lozano, Julio Giustozzi and Juan Carlos Chasco Ross, History of Art with Jorge López Anaya and Theory and Philosophy of Art with Fermín Fevre.
She made Exhibitions in Galleries and Museums all over the world.
The French critic Ionel Jianou commented on her work “What richness and variety in the topics covered! From the most ingenious combinations of geometric figures to the relationship between music and painting, from the problems of light to the resonance and harmony of colors, from the tenderness and sensitive aspect of images to the vision of a movement cosmic, everything has been dealt with intelligence, strength and fervor in Delia Solari's dialogue with the Universe ".
