Description

A wedding celebration comes alive under a swirling sky. The brush deploys a fluid gesture. The colors intertwine in a circular movement.
The central couple dances with grace. The bride wears a luminous white dress. Her partner is dressed in a deep blue. Their silhouettes seem to merge with the surrounding atmosphere.
The composition incorporates strong symbols. Two doves fly over the scene. A bouquet of red flowers brings a touch of warmth to the foreground.
The artist uses oil to create glossy textures. Diffused light envelops the characters. The style evokes an everyday scene sublimated by a naive approach.
This painting from 2018 captures a moment of sacred joy. The shades of blue and ochre structure the space. The whole ends with a delicate floral detail placed in a white vase.

Edward Ben Avram is an artist who was born in Bombay, India and immigrated to Israel as a teenager. He graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 1965 and continues to call Jerusalem his home.
