Description
A figurative composition where softness guides every stroke. A horse with a light coat dominates the space, a serene gaze. A small bird has landed on its dark mane, creating a silent dialogue between two species.
The artist plays with superimpositions. Patterns of white leaves and geometric lines intertwine in the background, bringing a dreamlike dimension to the scene. The orange and ochre tones warm the atmosphere.
In the foreground, a still life brings a touch of the everyday. A black cat observes the scene with curiosity. A cup contains a carrot, while apples rest next to a white vase. A few yellow flowers punctuate the image with luminous touches.
This acrylic painting, created in 2026, favors tenderness and the precision of detail. The work on textures contrasts the fluidity of the animal fur with the rigor of the graphic patterns. The whole forms a harmonious and poetic animal portrait.
Presentation
Member of the prestigious Taylor Foundation and of the Maison des Artists, Véronique Clanet has been exhibiting her work in France and abroad for more than 20 years. Her exhibitions offer visitors a privileged moment in which to discover her tenderness, delicacy and sensitivity.
Véronique is originally from the Ariège but she now lives in Lahitte-Toupière, a small village in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
