Description
A glowing red tulip emerges dramatically from deep shadow. This oil artwork transforms a familiar flower into an intense and elegant botanical portrait. Broad crimson, burgundy, and scarlet petals surround a vertical green stem, while passages of gold, ochre, cream, and warm orange create the impression that light is coming from within the flower itself. The nearly black burgundy background removes every distraction and gives the tulip a strong, almost theatrical presence.
The petal shapes are generous and irregular, recalling folds of fabric or the movement of a dancer's dress. This gives the composition both sensuality and fragility: the flower appears powerful, yet its beauty is clearly temporary. The work can bring warmth and depth to a contemporary living room, bedroom, dining room, office, or elegant entryway.
For collectors who enjoy expressive botanical imagery and sophisticated warm colors, this original oil artwork offers a bold alternative to conventional floral decor. It is also an excellent gift for a flower lover, gardener, romantic partner, or someone who appreciates dramatic contemporary interiors.

Presentation
Alina Khabibullina is a contemporary artist. She graduated from the Art and Graphic Arts Faculty in 1995 and later continued her postgraduate studies in Moscow, as well as training with Russian and international artists. In 2014, she became a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia. Her artworks have been presented in solo and group exhibitions and are held in private and public collections in Russia and abroad.
Working primarily in oil on canvas, Alina Khabibullina combines realist observation with an Impressionistic sensitivity to light, color, and atmosphere. Her practice explores the relationship between people and nature, focusing on quiet moments and details that are easily overlooked.
Flowers are a recurring subject in her artwork. Often using a close-up, almost macro perspective, she enlarges petals, stems, and organic forms until familiar botanical imagery begins to feel immersive and nearly abstract. This shift in scale allows texture, light, and color to become emotional elements rather than simply descriptive ones.
For Alina Khabibullina, painting is a form of attentive observation—a way to slow down, rediscover the extraordinary within the familiar, and explore how contemplation of nature can restore a sense of connection and inner balance.
