Alina Khabibullina

Alina Khabibullina is a contemporary artist. She graduated from the Art and Graphic Arts Faculty in 1995 and later continued her postgraduate studies in Moscow, as well as training with Russian and international artists. In 2014, she became a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia. Her artworks have been presented in solo and group exhibitions and are held in private and public collections in Russia and abroad.

Working primarily in oil on canvas, Alina Khabibullina combines realist observation with an Impressionistic sensitivity to light, color, and atmosphere. Her practice explores the relationship between people and nature, focusing on quiet moments and details that are easily overlooked.

Flowers are a recurring subject in her artwork. Often using a close-up, almost macro perspective, she enlarges petals, stems, and organic forms until familiar botanical imagery begins to feel immersive and nearly abstract. This shift in scale allows texture, light, and color to become emotional elements rather than simply descriptive ones.

For Alina Khabibullina, painting is a form of attentive observation—a way to slow down, rediscover the extraordinary within the familiar, and explore how contemplation of nature can restore a sense of connection and inner balance.
